Pal condensation: current four-star costs and keeper checks

Count the next rank instead of repeating an old total

If your keeper is already two-star, the remaining uncondensed-material budget is 12 + 24 = 36, rather than another 48. Already-condensed material Pals can have different credit: read the actual preview rather than applying this fresh-copy table indiscriminately.

Unlock and build the condenser

The Pal Essence Condenser's current record unlocks at technology level 14 and lists 20 Paldium Fragments, 20 Ingots and 5 Ancient Civilization Parts for construction. Check the Ancient Technology unlock in your save and reserve the parts before building it inside the base.

1. Choose the Pal you intend to improve. Compare identity and traits before moving spare copies into the material selection.
2. Open the condenser and select that keeper as the recipient.
3. Select matching material Pals and review which entries will be consumed and what rank/progress the preview shows.
4. Confirm only after the keeper and material list are correct. Inspect its new stars and partner-skill level afterwards.

Choose an upgrade for the job the Pal performs

Condensation improves partner-skill level and Pal stats. In 1.0, each rank-up also increases one Work Suitability level, and the maximum rank increases all Work Suitability levels. Read the keeper's displayed result before assuming every early rank improves every work skill.

For fishing, a stronger Gloopie skill addresses gauge loss while Jelliette addresses item quantity. Choose the effect you need before spending copies. A mount's benefit depends on its actual partner skill; condensation is not a universal promise of a faster mount.

Pal Soul enhancements are a separate resource spend. You can plan or reset those enhancements independently; converting Soul sizes does not create condensation progress.

Protect the keeper and stop at an uncertain preview

Treat material selection as a consumption decision. Rename or otherwise identify your keeper, reserve breeding or working Pals you still need, and review each selected entry before confirming. A Soul refund does not restore a consumed material Pal.

This page does not establish handbook inheritance, every human/variant compatibility rule or a way to undo condensation. If one of those determines whether a valuable Pal is safe to consume, resolve it for your current save before confirming. A Pal Reverser changes gender; its name does not mean it reverses this upgrade.
