Farm Hallowed Bars for a Celestial Sigil and Terraria gear
Collect Hallowed Bars from Terraria enemies and dungeon loot in the Sealed Realm of Terraria. For one ordinary Celestial Sigil, reserve 100 bars before spending the same stock on Terraria equipment.
You can gather enemy drops before treating a complete boss run as your farming plan. Different enemies and Eye of Cthulhu variants have different base drops; do not budget around a universal “100 bars per Eye” claim.

Start at the dungeon, then choose a safe farming depth
- Travel to the Sealed Realm of Terraria. The current mission reference marks its entrance at -420, -787, separate from the Fisherman’s Point quest giver.
- Bring a fighting party, healing supplies and inventory space. Your ability to clear the route matters more than an assumed yield from another player’s save.
- Fight the Terraria enemies you can safely handle and collect their Hallowed Bar drops. Count the bars in your inventory instead of adding theoretical enemy values.
- If you can complete the route, defeat the dungeon boss and collect the available exit loot before leaving.
- Return to base and reserve bars for your current craft. Repeat only after checking your actual supplies and the dungeon’s current availability.
Use base drops to choose targets, not promise a run total
| Enemy | Listed base Hallowed Bars |
|---|---|
| Green, Blue or Red Slime | 1 |
| Purple Slime | 2–3 |
| Illuminant Slime | 2–4 |
| Rainbow Slime | 5–10 |
| Enchanted Sword or Illuminant Bat | 2–4 |
The Eye record includes different drop rows: the ordinary entry has 2 bars and the larger encounter entry has 20–30. That difference matters when comparing dungeon rewards with a bred ordinary Pal. World drop settings and other modifiers can further change the result.
The linked farming discussion contains later replies disputing earlier claims of 100 bars from every processed Eye. Use the variant and current result you actually have; this guide does not prescribe a breeding factory or guarantee a chest-respawn timer.
Reserve the mission craft before making gear
One ordinary Celestial Sigil needs 100 Hallowed Bars; two need 200. Terraria gear can compete for the same stock, so reserve the mission amount before crafting a weapon or armor schematic.
If you are doing From the Far Side of the Moon, accept the follow-up before crafting and personally check that its crafting objective advances after collection. Having 100 bars and successfully producing a sigil do not prove that the quest has registered the action.
Follow the mission, sigil and altar steps →If the bars or mission progress still fall short
If a run gives fewer bars than an online example, compare enemy variant, drops setting and what you actually looted. Enemy drops, boss drops and exit loot are separate contributions. A large run total cannot be assigned to one ordinary enemy.
If your problem is a Moon objective that remains on crafting, use the craft-stage checks before consuming more bars or summoning again. If you only need a small material shortfall, continue the safe dungeon route you can already clear rather than building an unverified mass-production setup.
